Your Donation Transforms Lives and Reduces Recidivism.

Our Mission

At R.E.S.T.O.R.E. our mission is to break the cycle of recidivism by providing formerly incarcerated women with a safe, supportive environment within our residential homes. In each of our homes, we provide the tools, support, and education that women need to rebuild their lives.

The Problem

Formerly incarcerated women face significant barriers when transitioning back into society, leading to a high risk of recidivism. Recidivism like this drains billions from the economy and destabilizes communities by perpetuating cycles of poverty, broken families, and crime.

The recidivism crisis cannot be addressed without breaking down these barriers.

The R.E.S.T.O.R.E. Mission

Our goal is to R.E.S.T.O.R.E lives and reduce recidivism. Here’s our holistic approach.

Security

Our residential homes provide women with secure, stable environments where they can rebuild their lives. These homes serve as the foundation of our services, offering a safe space where women can heal and thrive, free from the instability that leads to reoffending.

Our programs help formerly incarcerated women develop essential money management skills, from budgeting to saving, enabling women to achieve financial independence, avoid debt traps, and make informed decisions about their economic futures.

Stability

Our literacy programs help women improve their reading and writing skills, opening doors to further education, better job opportunities, and greater self-confidence.

We provide counseling and therapy services tailored to the unique needs of formerly incarcerated women, promoting healing, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Our counseling services offer personalized support to help women overcome addiction, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and build a sober, stable life.

Self-Sufficiency

We help women find meaningful work by providing job readiness training, resume building, and direct job placement services, helping them secure employment that offers stability and purpose.

We collaborate with various organizations to assist women in finding safe, affordable housing, helping them transition from R.E.S.T.O.R.E. House to independent living.
